
Sony hasn't forgotten about its last-gen console, as it's rolled out a new firmware update for PS4.
This comes alongside the big new update for PS5 (and more notably, PS5 Pro), which sees the PSSR upscaling technology get some upgrades.
Unfortunately, PS4's new update doesn't implement anything nearly as exciting, but it's still worth getting your console updated anyway.
So, what does version 13.50 do? Here's the official word from Sony:
- We've improved the messages and usability on some screens.

And that's your lot. We told you it wasn't exciting.
PS4 is still trucking along more than a decade into its life, and Sony is keeping it going with these small updates despite PS5 being front and centre.
It perhaps speaks to how many people still own and still use a PS4 day to day that it continues to be supported.
